About Emma

Emma was born and raised in Alberta, Canada where as a child she loved to create imaginary worlds through play. She began writing poetry, performing plays and writing songs and continued to create art in varying forms throughout her teens and adulthood.

Emma minored in Fine Art at the University of Calgary and now in addition to her creative career, works in the human services field specializing in early childhood development and parenting. 

"When I’m creating, whether a story, a painting or a song, I feel like my most authentic self. The Arts have always been a way for me to find immense beauty and connection in what is often a turbulent world. I can't imagine a life spent without expressing and sharing the human experience through art."
